Samantha received two Film fare awards as a best actress in both languages , In telugu ” EEGA” and in Tamil ” Yeto vellipoyindhi manasu ” which made her top actress of filmfare. She created a record with this by receiving both industries awards in a single award function. Previously before 21 years this same record was created by Revathi for telugu film ” Ankuram” and in tamil ” Kshetriya Putrudu”.
