All Arjun might be running on cloud nine at the moment for the commercial success of Iddarammayilatho despite lashing from critics due to its slow narration. Also his previous flicks like Julayi, Arya 2 and Vedam won him critical acclaim for his performances. But if we notice, Bunny is repeating the same road side romeo, middle class boy and simple guy kind of antics and action. There is nothing innovative to his characterization except some clicking story lines.
Although his contemporaries like Charan and NTR have struck to some mass-image, Allu Arjun is having enough ammunition to experiment different things as his image is both class and mass. At this point, it is better for him to leave to those regular characterizations and do something unique. Maybe he should give serious thought about doing new stuff rather formulaic flicks.
Critics also feel that Bunny is one hero who can come up with different scripts and characters in the likes of Ranbir Kapoor and Surya. Let us hope he will live up to this expectation in the coming days.
